Dr Kulvinder Kochar Kaur is the Scientific Director of the Dr Kulvinder Kaur Centre for Human Reproduction, Jalandhar, Punjab, India, where she manages highly complex cases of infertility. She graduated from Lady Hardinge Medical College Delhi in 1980, topping Medicine across all three medical colleges of Delhi, for which she received the prestigious Dr Devi Chand Gold Medal from the late Prime Minister Smt Indira Gandhi. She had earlier topped all MBBS subjects including Anatomy, Pathology, and Biochemistry, laying a remarkably strong foundation in medical sciences.

During her MD training, she successfully managed the Endocrine Clinic at PGIMER Chandigarh. Subsequently, while working in Saudi Arabia, she reported the 40th documented case worldwide of hydrometrocolpos. Over the years, her work expanded into the field of neuroendocrinology, particularly focusing on obesity, insulin resistance IR, type 2 diabetes mellitus, and related complications such as Diabetic Kidney Disease DKD, Coronary Artery Disease CAD, and Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction HFpEF. She emphasizes non surgical management through Three Dimensional Healthcare 3DHC, incorporating Rajyoga Meditation RYM.

Her research contributions include work on GnRH control and the role of kisspeptins and prokineticins in human reproduction, AIDS, and cancer. During this phase, she achieved a landmark milestone by successfully treating the world’s first reported case of non gestational choriocarcinoma of the uterine body in a young girl through medical management, thereby preserving fertility. This achievement is documented in global medical literature.

Dr Kaur has authored over 500 publications, predominantly in international journals. Her expertise spans Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, with extensive experience in IVF, IUI, and ICSI. Due to health reasons, she is currently focused on research across multiple medical disciplines including Cardiology and Neurology, alongside her core specialties.

Her clinical and research interests also include amenorrhoea, PCOS, pregnancy with heart disease, pregnancy with heart failure, Hepatitis C Virus HCV, Human Immunodeficiency Virus HIV, and Human Papilloma Virus HPV in cervical and throat cancers. She is actively engaged in studying neurodegenerative diseases NDDs, with a special focus on the role of gut microbiota GM in conditions such as Parkinson’s disease PD, Alzheimer’s disease AD, and ALS, as well as cancer prevention and therapy.
