He belongs to Indian Administrative Service, 1985 batch, Assam-Meghalaya (RR). Earlier he was Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He has also worked in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Power and Ministry of External Affairs. He has also served as Principal Secretary, Home & Political in the Government of Assam during 2012-14. Sailesh holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics (1982). He has also done Post Graduation in Management from MDI, Gurgaon (1993). He is an alumnus of Graduate Research Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), Tokyo, Japan where he did his Masters in International Development Studies (2003)

Dr. Shyamala Mani

Dr. Shyamala Mani, Professor, Waste Management and Environmental Health, National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) has an MSc. in Microbiology from Madurai Kamaraj University, M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in Environmental Science from JNU, India and an MPH from School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley, USA. A national science talent scholar, a recipient of ICAR Fellowship in Agri. Microbiology and Fogarty Int. fellowship in Environmental Health, she has presented papers in several conferences and seminars in India and abroad. Her projects have received international recognition including the UNCHS Global 100 award for Community based waste management and Low cost sanitation in slums in Bangalore, the Plasticon India award for innovative Plastics Reuse and Recycling, recognition by International Model Forest Network Canada and Regional Centres of Expertise of the UNU-IAS Japan for setting up the Regional Centre of Expertise at Kodagu (Coorg) for management of pilgrimage places. She worked as Programme Director, Waste and Resource Management at the Centre for Environment Education (CEE), a centre of excellence supported by the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF), Govt. of India for 25 years before she joined NIUA in December 2012. At NIUA, she has helped complete Operationalizing of the National Urban Sanitation Policy (NUSP) and waste management documentation project for PEARL.

Leadership achievement awards

Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee is widely acclaimed as the Father of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in our country. He was instrumental in framing and issuing the CSR guidelines for Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) in April, 2010. Thereafter, he played a major role in the inclusion of Section 135 in the Companies Act of 2013 and in the framing of the rules thereafter. Today, as the DG & CEO of the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), he spearheads the National Foundation for Corporate Social Responsibility (NFCSR). Dr. Chatterjee is also a widely acclaimed management practitioner, theorist and teacher and has been writing on issues of social and sustainable development, corporate responsibility and human resources. He joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1975 and has held many distinguished positions. In 2008-09, he was the Principal Adviser in the Planning Commission. He was part of the team responsible for shaping India’s response to the global economic crisis of 2009. Dr. Chatterjee is a prolific writer. In 1990, his first path breaking work entitled “Japanese Management – Maruti and the Indian Experience” was published. Thereafter, in 2009, he wrote his famous book “Human Resource Management – A Contemporary Text”. His widely acclaimed book, “Leadership India – Leading Change, Changing Lives” was released at the World HRD Congress in February, 2011. Dr. Chatterjee has most recently authored his book entitled “Sustainable Futures – Imperatives for Managing the Social Agenda”. Today, as the Director General & CEO of the IICA, Dr. Chatterjee is preparing strategies for capacity development, knowledge dissemination and quality research.

Shri Ninong Ering

Ninong Ering (born 3 January 1959) is an Indian politician, belonging to the Indian National Congress. He represents Arunachal East (Lok Sabha constituency) in Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament.

Ering was a member of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Pasighat East constituency as an independent candidate from 1990-1995. In 1995, he again contested from the same constituency as an independent candidate, but he was defeated by the Congress candidate Tobar Jamoh. From 1999-2004 he again became a member of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing the same constituency as a Congress candidate. From 1999–2002, he was the Minister of State of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and from 2002–2004, he was the Deputy Speaker of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. In 2009, he was elected to the 15th Lok Sabha. He was re-elected to 16th Lok Sabha from the same constituency in 2014.

Padma Shri Dr. K K Aggarwal

K. K. Aggarwal is an Indian physician and cardiologist who is President CMAAO, President of the Heart Care Foundation of India and the Past National President of Indian Medical Association. The Government of India honoured him, in 2010, with the award of Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award, for his contributions to the field of medicine.

He did his MBBS from Nagpur University in 1979 and obtained an MD from the same university in 1983. He was a senior consultant at Moolchand Medcity, New Delhi, India, until 2017 He has published many books on health including Alloveda, 6 textbook chapters on echocardiography and thousands of articles in national and international press. He is one of the pioneers of streptokinase therapy for heart attack in India and introduced the technique of Colour Doppler Echocardiography in India, Dr Aggarwal has been honored with the Dr. B. C. Roy Award, the highest Indian award in the medical category, in 2005. He is also a recipient of Vishwa Hindi Samman, National Science Communication Award, FICCI Health Care Personality of the Year Award, Dr D S Mungekar National IMA Award, and the Rajiv Gandhi Excellence Award, In 2010, he received the Padma Shri. He is Gold Medalist and Limca Book of record holder in CPR . He has been National President of the Indian Medical Association. and Chief Editor of IJCP Group.

Pratap Chandra Sarangi (born 4 January 1955), is a Minister of State in the Government of India for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.
