Prof Madan’s commitment to excellence and her dogged determination to transform Architectural education and practice, is helping in making it multidisciplinary, inclusive, and hence, future-ready. As Prof Madan says ”Being recognised for an award like this is always the outcome of a collective effort, and I have so many people to thank for it – my family, contributors, fellow travellers, partners-in-crime, friends, philosophers and guides of all backgrounds, all ages, all spheres of life. Mostly, I thank Rupamanjari Ghosh for making me believe that my idealism can stay intact. It is a humbling experience. More than anything else, it raises the bar further.”
