As an Aircrafts Enthusiast, Ms. Urvashi Kikani, with her sheer determination has had her bit in creating more than 7 prototype versions that aim to help organizations globally
Aircrafts always fascinated Ms. Urvashi Kikani ever since she was a child. Her curiosity about learning more about airplanes led to pursuing Aeronautical Engineering. She was also very determined to do something for humanity. Her first ever humanitarian research made her fall in the field and she started learning even more about Aircraft structures, Aerodynamics & Avionics. She always wanted to do something for humanity and that is how she came across a project named ‘EAGLE A7’ on which an exceptional young innovator Harshwardhan Zala was working. She didn’t even have a second thought and immediately joined the project and worked on her dream of saving lives globally. They officially started Aerobotics7. They as an organization aimed to make drones which easily detected landmines even if they are made of plastic, without any need of human deminers to risk their lives, eventually, they started getting recognizing for their hard work.
As Ms. Kikani was an Aeronautical Engineer and was the research and development head, she focused on doing R&D, thereby sharing her expertise in the best technological options. She also managed the team of other engineers working on the project. Gradually their hard work paid off; they signed many MoUs and were offered a lot of partnerships with organizations and companies from around the world like Gujarat Government, Korean Mine Research Institute in Seoul, South Korea, etc. The project on which she was working got selected by the Indian Army to get tested in a real-field environment, and it got many successful results. They worked on creating more than 7 prototype versions aiming to help organizations globally. However, Urvashi’s journey has not been easy; she was always fascinated by the aircraft, but many gender-biased objections were raised against her, she overcame them all and dedicatedly studied Aeronautical Engineering and aced it.
The organization serves a bigger purpose through their project and do not wish to race against anyone; but to provide best solutions. Their drones result from numerous trial and error and many iterations. They have AI-based and Multiple spectrums-driven detection methods that can accurately identify landmines and destroy them without any human intervention. Their novel approach and the time spent on making the drones better makes them stand out.
Aerobotics7 within a very short span of time, established itself as one of India’s most innovative and purpose-driven drone company. Now, their focus area is entering into the American market to build the best technology and provide it to the global market, with the best resources, talent and capital. The organization is focused on solving one problem at a time and then moving to another with their mission to Make the world a safe place.
