A passionate software engineer with over 10 years of work experience in Dubai, India and Singapore with various MNCs, trained by NUS and AI Singapore, mother of two has evolved creative ways of introducing children to the world of programming, Ms. Ruchi Prakash established Devyatech coding classes. There’s often a misconception about coding being only for a certain category of people. However, Coding at a young age is important because much like learning a foreign language, a child’s brain more plastically picks up and integrates the skill.
Devyatech’s focus is on play and exploration, not work. Children here are engaged because coding unleashes imagination. It is observed that kids as young as 6 years of age can start coding and learning programming basics. In fact, coding for kids has gained popularity rapidly in recent years as technology becomes increasingly part of everyday life.
Apart from engaging children into coding and making them future ready from a tender age, Devyatech is also in to CSR. They are an integral part of Mohanji Skill Development Centre at Mohanji Ka Aangan, Delhi, where they impart education to Aangan children who are mostly from the underprivileged background. And empower them to integrate themselves into the larger society and become leaders for tomorrow. They will be starting this initiative with:
