Originally belonging from Agra, it was in 2011, that Ms Rhea Luthra moved to Delhi to pursue her graduation in Economic Hons. from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. After completion of graduation, she took up law, more in a manner of elimination than selection. She started her legal career in energy based regulatory field in the year 2017, majorly appearing before Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions and thereafter took onto a hard core civil-commercial litigation practice in New Delhi.
Having no particulars plans for future and unfolding what life had to offer, it is in 2021, that she happened to start her independent practice under the name and style “RTA Law Chambers”, based out of South Delhi. So far and fingers crossed, she says that she had been lucky in this regard that she has a great team of four, with fabulous young lawyers, who are able to take on assignments independently and work on them.
She together with her team works on all kinds of matters that comes her way, mainly focusing on disputes spread across various sectors. Other than that, she also engages in service law, consumer law, land matters, etc. She enjoys her practice of running from court to court in the morning, advising her clients, working in their best interests and ensuring that their rights and entitlements are secured to the maximum extent possible.
Being a first-generation lawyer, she says it’s surely been and is challenging, but wouldn’t have it any other way!
