Achiever's Success Story
With Zeal and Perfectionism as her success tools, Mrs. Lakshmi Rekha Malladi stands tall with honour
At this juncture of her career and life when she casts her look somewhat more than 26 years back, Mrs. Lakshmi Rekha Malladi finds herself as a hard professionalism driven person with a very high degree of zeal. Twenty-six years ago, the country’s working environment for women, culture of corporate sectors, were not as they are now. There were prejudiced mindset prevailing almost everywhere. Gender bias was very high at that time, especially in the Civil Engineering Construction field. Mrs. Lakshmi, along with being a self- motivated person, credits the inherited genetic characteristics of her parents and the same being juxtaposed with the perpetual cooperative and supportive attitude of her beloved spouse, for her success, who played a very vital role in overcoming all those hurdles in difficult times of her life.
Apart from professional arena, her deep adherence towards spiritualism has helped her to have a clarity in vision on life, its very purpose and duties. This also raised her thought process in a higher altitude from where gauging and judging her life in professional field, giving it a right shape became easier which also helped her in judiciously balancing personal and work life.
Having worked at several areas in the field of Civil Engineering in early life of her career, her choice of taking up the QaQC field was purely based on certain other ideals that she cherished in her heart. In her view, an overall improvement of performance in Civil Engineering Construction field can only be achieved if there is a suitably structured standard framework of total Quality System. This has to be pre-established. Which comprises of process improvement along with constant monitoring and regular Audit. So that, occurring of any deviation from standardised system and process can be minimised and enhance the chance of increasing the magnitude of Quality performance. Since Mrs. Lakshmi took up the field of QaQC, she rendered her constant endeavour only upon it.
She believes that her penance did not go waste and feels fortunate enough to have been successful to some extent in achieving a part of it and says that this can be judged best by all her beneficiaries. She further cherishes a personal dream beyond her professional life. If opportunity permits, she would like to run an Orphanage for the destitute people of her motherland India.
