Achiever's Success Story
Organizing and Empowering Indian Businesses
“COVID-19 has caused tremendous financial strain in terms of business growth and available credit for Small – Medium sized Indian Businesses. This is further proliferated in the unorganised sectors and in tier 2,3 cities of India”
Vishnu started his entrepreneurial journey with the vision of empowering Indian Businesses. He understood that technology was key and onboarded M.Manoj – an ambitious technical co-founder to achieve this mission.
Badhaan.com’s mission is to organise and to simplify the financial lives of Indian businesses and empower them. The name “Badhaan” is derived from the word “badho”, meaning growth and empowerment for Indian Businesses.
Having worked across various business and product roles in multi-nationals, Vishnu noticed a need for enterprise grade technology infrastructure and business functional support for Indian Businesses that multinational companies take for granted. This problem is further proliferated in unorganised sectors such as Metals, Food etc.
Badhaan.com is attempting to solve the three major hurdles for an Indian Business :
1. An integrated, seamless and easy to use technology infrastructure to improve business transparency, compliance and cash flow visibility for Indian Businesses
- Availability of timely credit for deserving Indian Businesses to help improve their cash flow and profitability
- Provide sales opportunities to grow their businesses
The platform is growing at 60% MoM and has a current transaction value run-rate of 24Cr INR per annum ($3.2 Mn). Badhaan.com is also a part of and works closely with some of the best startup accelerators of the country. The founders are mentored by world class leaders and entrepreneurs in B2B SaaS, business lending and growth hacking.
Vishnu holds an MBA from MDI Gurgaon and a B.Tech from IIT Hyderabad. He holds prior experience advising CXO’s in business strategy as well as building & scaling technology products in multinational corporations.
