Meet Sukhpreet Swaran Sandhu, A Young and Immensely Talented Inspirational People Leader & Coach
Introducing you to Sukhpreet Swaran Sandhu, who has contributed to the global HR fraternity, society, and sharing practices towards nation-building by scaling up three firms from scratch which created & managed employment opportunities for over 15000+ people. He has also made the youth of India future-ready by coaching them on choosing the right career tracks. On the personal front, he has loved accepting complex challenges, defying all odds, breaking the stereotypes, and coming out of hardships like a warrior. Quoting him, he firmly believes that, “what you leave behind is not just your name, but a whole legacy on how you helped someone in need, how you treated them, and how much you learned from each person mutually with whoever you crossed your paths in life.”
He is a young & seasoned HR Leader with over 14 years of progressive experience in various gamuts of human resources. One of the youngest ever HR heads in India; he took charge of the first managerial position at the age of 23, a global HR leadership position for a consulting firm at 27, and HR Head for a large unicorn under the age of 30. He was felicitated as one of the top 100 professionals under 40 by Business World in 2018.
He currently Heads Human Resources with one of the fastest-growing global SaaS firms- ITILITE. Previously he worked with Spinny (a unicorn), wherein he grew the organization by 20x in 2.5 years from 100 to 2000 employees PAN India. He also worked with Denave- a Global Consulting Firm wherein he was responsible for global human resources development. He has also worked with notable firms like JABONG, IndiaMART Group, and Concentrix.
He is a speaker, coach, facilitator, and often writes for HR magazines focusing on bold & modern topics. His keen areas of interest include building most-loved workplaces, leadership development, talent management, rewards, culture, and changing org-shape & ecosystem. He is an alumnus of Management Development Institute (MDI Gurgaon) and also carries two specializations in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur and London School of Business & Finance, United Kingdom.
At a personal level, he has always defied odds and stood out as a winner in his own space whether it’s tackling the loss of his mother at a young age, losing his father in his arms while struggling for a hospital bed during the second wave of covid, fighting financial hardships in early life, and overcoming bullying by becoming an inspiring transformed individual who helps others in their holistic (physical and mental) wellbeing. He overcame challenges and never had a negative outlook as he firmly believes that “a life without struggles & learning, is not the life lived at all.” This motto has made him accept every difficulty, fight with it like a warrior, and ensure he comes out of it with a silver lining & learning that can transform him and many others. He owes each of his accomplishments to his parents who are up there in heaven, blessing & guiding him like the angels every moment; he has always been taking their teachings and legacies forward & says he will continue to do so at every single time in the future.
Other than devising strategies of making & developing “cool” workplaces, he is a fitness enthusiast- a certified fitness & nutrition coach, ex-lead singer of a band, trained Latin American ballroom dancer, and an energy healer who focuses a lot on people’s mental health. Fitness is very close to his heart and he fosters that at his workplace as well- in strategies, benefits, and a mindset as a whole.
He has coached over 500+ budding leaders & over 2000+ professionals & leaders in the last decade & a half. He also mentors the students who aspire to transition into the corporate world by sharing his easy-to-apply principles that may help them set themselves for a rocking success. He also assisted & coached over 100 people to move to a healthier lifestyle- physical and mental; by making better decisions & channelizing time to achieve their wellness goals.
