Mr. Rajeev’s admirable success story
Mr. Rajeev currently works with neXat, which is a Belgium based satellite service aggregator, as their Senior Vice President for APAC region. He has been in the satellite industry for over more than 15 years and credits his success, to the network of customers and colleagues, who have always been open to do business with him, irrespective of the company he represented.
Mr. Rajeev began his professional journey in 2004 after completing his BE (Electronics & Telecom) from Mumbai University and MBA in Marketing from Army Institute of Management, and initially worked in the domestic telecom & DTH companies until 2008. While he was excelling in retail sales profile in these companies, he won multiple Sales Engagement Program awards & Chairman’s trophy while working with Reliance, then further won the Power Partner Award with Tata Sky. He was always fascinated by International Business.
In 2008 he made a career move to follow his passion and joined Bharti Airtel in a team that sold turnkey VSAT solution to customers in Middle East & Africa region. These were countries where airtel did not have any presence or existing business at that time. Rajeev developed the business to exceed expectations and won the Presidents’ club award and Achiever’s Club twice. He won 2 tenders in French speaking countries for airtel. After airtel, he joined Intelsat, which is the largest satellite operator in the world, for managing the network services business in South Asia during which he expanded their business into Bhutan. In 2013, he moved to Measat – which is a Malaysian satellite operator, and managed the EMEA region.
After successfully delivering results over many years, he then moved neXat, which is a Belgian company to develop their business into Asian & Australian markets, with a revolutionary service tailored for the satellite services industry. In less than a year after joining neXat, neXat is now also covering complete Asia Pacific region. International sales and marketing are Mr. Rajeev’s strength as he has repeatedly delivered results in different countries for different companies.
