Mukesh has more than 3 decades of Corporate Executive experience spanning across Automotive, Switchgear and Renewable Energy Industries. He is in true sense a Transformationist, having led multiple initiatives in his career to transform Businesses.
He built his successful career in world’s leading Corporates like Robert Bosch, ABB and Suzlon Energy and has gained rich experience working in India, Germany, France and Australia among the major countries. His recent corporate role was as CEO of Suzlon Energy Australia, where he led the Business turn-around from the front based on strong customer relationship and principles of operational excellence.
Mukesh has founded MKay consulting in 2021 operating out of Melbourne and has a vision to leverage “Network Capital” he has earned during corporate career and adding enhanced value to Renewable Energy sector. He is a certified John Maxwell coach and has internalised John’s leadership principle, “Leadership is all about Influencing people”. Mukesh intends to make a difference to millions of people through his contribution to energy-transition process. Mukesh is actively leading the National Industry Group set-up with AICC-Australia India Chamber of Commerce and enabling enhance Trade between Australia and India.
In his previous roles at Suzlon Energy India and ABB, he was Vice president Operational Excellence. He helped implement strategic initiatives to transform the organisation. Excellence is his forte, no wonder he is aptly earned the “Man of Excellence” Award.
Mukesh identifies himself as a leader with feel for ground realities and over the years has developed hard core skills in Manufacturing by deploying Lean manufacturing, Business transformation through digitalisation, Project Finance in Renewable Energy projects, Product development and market development for Gravitational Energy storage technology.
He possesses unique coaching skills and has helped Senior management executives deliver extra-ordinary performance.
Mukesh possesses excellent people management skills and therefore connects with diverse set of people quite easily, in person and on social sites. He enjoys being in the company of people, which allows him to learn from each one of them consistent with his belief, “one must continually learn to sustain growth”.
