Mr. Kotha Basi Reddy, is a technocrat, a visionary, and a futurist, more than all a true patriot. After spending 27 years in USA he came back to India to serve his motherland. Mr. Reddy has played a pivotal role in the transformation of digital technology in India, he was the first person to introduce digital technology in to films in India for the first time in 2003, that has created a huge revolution.
Later in 2007 he aspired to make Hyderabad as a world class Gaming & Animation hub in India, he endeavoured to bring out a specific Policy for the development of AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming and Comics industry) in Andhra Pradesh, he was influential from initiating to conceptualising the GAME Policy in the combined State of Andhra Pradesh, which was launched by The Government Of Andhra Pradesh in January 2014.
However, after the bifurcation of combined state, because of his dedicated efforts it had been re launched as IMAGE Policy in 2016, this was one of his greatest achievements, which echoes his futuristic vision.

Mr. Basi Reddy, has been awarded the most prestigious “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Life Time Achievement National Award” for his remarkable achievements in the field of Film, Animation, Visual Effects and Gaming industry. This was Awarded by The International Institute for Social and Economic Reforms, Bengaluru. in 2019.
Mr. Reddy is the Chairman & Managing Director of – DIGIQUEST INDIA LIMITED.
