Mr. Daniel Johnson’s impeccable professional journey
Having started his career as a piling engineer, Mr. Daniel C Johnson took hold of the opportunity provided to switch his career to Health & Safety which proved him, the turning point of his life. It not only became a profession but also a passion of his life. He believes that “when you are driven by passion, you become unstoppable” and that was the case with him and paved the way for quick success and career growth.
Mr. Daniel owes his success to 23 years long stint with ITD Cementation India Limited, a Thai-based global construction company. During his tenure with ITD, he had the privilege to work in almost all the major and prestigious maritime projects of the company where he helped in completion of the project sites without any fatalities. Later, Mr. Daniel also had the opportunity to work with Tata Projects Limited and Reliance Infrastructure Limited and working in the tough marine environment over the years truly fashioned him to be a hardcore and successful marine safety professional. As a safety professional, he always believed in himself as well as in others and his focus was always on building up leaders at all level and to train them to be a matured leader which attributed to his success.
And now having been given the opportunity to serve World Safety Organization, Maharashtra Chapter, and with the vast experience he has in the field of maritime health and safety, he is focussed on serving the community and the nation at large towards internationalization of safety standards in the maritime sectors in Mumbai and across the nation.
