Mr. Arunesh Singh is the CEO of Generation India Foundation, which is a global non-profit organization that commenced its impactful journey in 2015. Generation operates across eighteen countries and over 300 cities, diligently training and placing disconnected youth and mid-career learners into 47+ professions spanning the realms of technology, healthcare, customer service, and skilled trades.
With a strong professional tenure exceeding 28 years, Mr. Singh has has expertise across diverse sectors including Healthcare, Financial Inclusion, WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene), Clean Energy, and Skill Development. His wealth of experience encompasses close collaborations with various donor agencies, governmental bodies, and the corporate sector, including multinational foundations, in driving positive change and sustainable development initiatives.
Before assuming his role at Generation, Mr. Singh served as the Chief of the Party for the USAID-funded SHOPS Plus Project (Sustaining Healthcare Outcomes through the Private Sector) at Abt Associates, where his strategic leadership played a pivotal role in advancing healthcare outcomes. He has also worked at Population Services International, where he spearheaded WASH programs, including a significant sanitation initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
