After nearly 2 decades in the US, Mr. Chandra relocated from Silicon Valley, California to New Delhi, India just prior to the start of COVID19 pandemic. He is a digital and transformation leader with demonstrated success in driving digital operating model transformations, and delivering highly scalable digital platforms for significant shareholder value.
He serves as a member of Executive leadership team as an Executive VP, Chief Digital and Technology Officer at The Body Shop – South Asia. Previously, he was Global Technology Officer / Global Head of Technology for Retail, CPG & Travel, Transport, Hospitality industry verticals at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) Santa Clara, California location. During his 7 years at TCS, the company grew 2.5x in MCap and over 90% in brand value. Prior to TCS, Aashish served as Vice President at Sears Holdings Corporation in the US where he was driving Digital Transformation for the iconic retail company.
Mr. Chandra has been in founding CXO team of 2 tech startups in Silicon Valley; and has 11 patents filed in international jurisdictions including UK, US, Europe and India.
An award-winning digital leader, he has been honored with reputable awards including 1) Silicon Valley 40-under-40 Award 2) San Francisco Bay Area CIO of the Year Award 3) Silicon Valley based BT150 honoree 4) Top 50 Business Growth Leader Award, 5) UK based CEO Monthly’s C-Suite CTO Award, and so on.
