There are several benefits to having more women in the workforce. Working women achieve financial independence and gain more control over their life on a micro level. This empowers women to resist and deal with societal pressures and challenges on their own. When it comes to India, back then, only certain percentage of Women were allowed to work and had a very limited working efficiency. With an intention to see more women in entrepreneurship, Indian Achiever’s Forum promotes, encourages and gives recognition to the individuals (women in particular) for their excellent performance and contribution in their respective fields. This initiative by IAF anticipates to see a rise in “women participation” and foster co-operation amongst the business community for collection and exchange of information.
