Meet Rangarajan Komandur Ramaswami, an accomplished Research Scholar, IEEE Member, and Software Professional hailing from Chennai, India. With a profound passion for research and innovation in Computer and Information Sciences Engineering, Rangarajan has amassed over 15 years of experience in the field of Computer and Information Technology. As a Test Analyst based in the United States, Rangarajan has worked with Fortune 100 clients worldwide, contributing his expertise to cutting-edge projects. He holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Sri Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, India.
He began his journey as an engineering student. During his graduate studies, he served as a cadet in senior division boys for National Cadet Corps (NCC) 4(TN) AIR SQN (TECH) NCC Unit in Chennai. With prodigious public speaking ability, he was invited to proffer guest lectures on Design Thinking and Brain Computer Interaction (BCI) at various educational institutions across India from 2009.
From 2009 to 2021, Rangarajan has published around 5 research papers in several national and international conferences, including IEEE conferences outside India. He has also published ‘4’ international journals and Scopus-indexed journals with high impact factors. He won “1st and 2nd” cash prizes in around 15 prestigious institutions across India for technical national-level symposium held at ISM, NIT and others. His outstanding achievements and research publications were featured in the University magazine and its website under the “Privileged Information” section. His research areas mainly include Brain Computer Interaction (BCI), Data Mining, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Analysis, Data Privacy, Biometrics, Offline-Signature Verification, Decision Making, EEG, Medical Computing, Pattern Mining, Pattern Classification, Sensor Fusion, and Speech Recognition.
