Mr. Indranil Sen, commonly known as “Neil,” has emerged as a trailblazer in the field of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) over the past two years. Driven by a vision to create uniform policies and practices in Indian workplaces, he embarked on an extensive global research initiative to identify and establish a global standard for DEI. His journey was not just a professional endeavor but a deeply personal mission to foster inclusivity and celebrate diversity in every corner of the workplace.
Through months of meticulous study, he delved into the Indian Constitutional Framework, analyzing how it supports DEI both in society and the workplace. His efforts culminated in July 2024 with the launch of the “DISM-ISO 30415 Certified D&I Professional Program” in India. This program, the first of its kind, was initiated as a not-for-profit venture with a singular goal: to create inclusive workplaces across India that truly reflect and celebrate diversity.
The impact of his work was swiftly felt. In August 2024, the first cohort of the “DISM-ISO 30415 Certified D&I Professional Program” graduated, symbolizing a significant step towards a more inclusive corporate environment in India. This milestone, occurring just before India’s 78th Independence Day, was a testament to his dedication and served as his gift to the nation—a commitment to nurturing inclusive workspaces.
His journey is a testament to his role as a Thought Leader, Inclusionist, Excellence Practitioner, Transformationalist, and Mentor. His work continues to inspire others, setting a new benchmark for DEI standards in India and beyond.
