Norman Solovay’s interest lies in alternative dispute resolution, especially ‘Med-Arb’, a hybrid between mediation and arbitration that is particularly useful in certain types of dispute redressal. Solovay served in the military before enrolling at Columbia Law School. In his long and distinguished career as a legal practitioner he has had the opportunity to serve with some of the leading law firms where he excelled as a litigator. But he veered away from litigation towards mediation and now calls himself a ‘reformed litigator’. He is currently Partner at The Solvay Practice and Mediators + More.
