World Athletics U20 Championships- Shaili Singh from India bags silver in women’s long jump

India’s daughter Shaili Singh has won a silver medal in women’s long jump at World Athletics U20 Championships which is being held in Nairobi. By far, India has won three medal in total this year at the U20 Championship. Prior to this, Amit had brought laurels to the nation by grabbing the silver medal in 10,000m walk race. India also won a bronze in 4x 400m relay. The event was held between 18th to 22nd August 2021. Many other athletes had participated in the sports event in various and dynamic events. Irrespective of their age and background, the Indian athletes have shown exemplary indomitable spirit and the zest to make the country proud.
