Mr. Karthick Jayakumara Sarma is an accomplished data and supply chain leader whose career spans consulting, entrepreneurship, and thought leadership. With over a decade of experience driving data management and advanced planning transformations across global organizations, he is recognized as a trusted advisor on some of the world’s leading pharmaceutical and life sciences projects.

Currently serving as Supply Chain Data Lead at Bluecrux Inc., a Belgium-based consulting firm, he leads large-scale data delivery programs focused on data strategy, quality, engineering, and architecture, governance, and enablement for advanced planning systems (APS). He has spearheaded critical initiatives across global pharma and healthcare projects, enabling organizations to achieve operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and sustainable supply chain performance.

Beyond consulting, he is the founder of Opti-Data Consulting Inc., a Canadian firm specializing in data strategy, governance, and analytics. He is also building a personal brand as the “Good Data Guy,” where he combines professional expertise with storytelling, training, and content creation. His upcoming book, The Silent Mechanics of Business Transformation, reflects his versatility, blending professional insight with personal resilience and creativity. His entrepreneurial journey underscores his belief that good data is the backbone of smart decisions and resilient organizations.

Academically, he is pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at SSBM Geneva, specializing in data analytics, where his research focuses on operationalizing data quality in supply planning. He also holds an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut. Alongside these, he has earned globally recognized certifications, including APICS CPIM, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and multiple technology and industry credentials.
