Mr. Gaurav Agarwal’s journey in finance and business strategy began with a strong foundation, having cleared his Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams on the first attempt. This milestone set the stage for a career focused on growth, innovation, and transformation. In 2015, at the age of 28, he stepped into the role of CFO within the NTT DATA group, playing a pivotal role in driving business expansion and financial excellence.

In 2022, he took on the responsibility of leading NTT DATA Business Solutions India as CEO, guiding the organization through a phase of rapid transformation. Under his leadership, the company has grown from 90 employees to over 4,000, with revenue scaling from $3 million to over $100 million. His focus on business transformation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric innovation has enabled the company to support over 300 organizations in their digital journeys, successfully executing more than 100 company migrations. Strategic acquisitions, including VCentric in 2017 and Proventech in 2024, have further strengthened NTT DATA Business Solutions India’s expertise in SAP solutions and digital innovation.

Beyond business, he remains deeply committed to social impact and sustainability. Through UMMEED, the company’s flagship CSR initiative, efforts are directed toward education for girls, environmental sustainability, healthcare through blood donation drives, and support for specially-abled children. These initiatives reflect a dedication to making a positive and lasting impact beyond the corporate sphere.

His leadership has contributed to NTT DATA Business Solutions India earning the Top Employer 2025 certification by the Top Employer Institute, reinforcing a people-first approach. Additionally, his excellence in financial stewardship has been recognized with the “Leadership Excellence in Financial Management” award at the Telangana Best Employer Awards 2019.
