At the helm of Revolut’s foray into India, Paroma leads the charge in introducing tailored financial products as part of the company’s expansive global strategy. Her instrumental leadership marked a milestone in February 2022, spearheading Revolut’s strategic acquisition of an international money transfers and currency exchange company in India, further solidifying Revolut’s footprint in the region.
With an illustrious career spanning two decades, Paroma’s journey began after graduating from the prestigious IIM-Lucknow. Her initial seven-year tenure in banking saw her contribute significantly to renowned brands like ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. Her transition into the FinTech landscape marked a paradigm shift, pioneering the mobile wallet license for Airtel Money in 2010, a pivotal moment in India’s FinTech evolution. Subsequently, she played a pivotal role in launching and scaling various flagship businesses, including leading the marketplace business at Flipkart.
