Apeksha was born in Kanpur and hails from a family of three generations of strong women, including her grandmother, aunts, and mother. Throughout her childhood, she was surrounded by strong, opinionated, ambitious, and career-oriented women. They all had clear career choices, and her grandmother supported them equally regardless of their choices.The men in her life have also played a very pivotal role in term of forming her personality traits and a go getter attitude towards her work life. Her father supported her in each & every decision of her life. His mantra for her was “Ankhein aasman main, pair zameen par”.
She is married to a software professional and has two kids- a daughter and a son, 15 and 11 years respectively. Her husband has been the wind beneath her wings and has supported her throughout her career. He has ensured that they both take care of household responsibilities and raising their kids equally which gives both quintessential time to focus on achieving newer heights in their respective career domain.
Apeksha is a management graduate in HR and an expert in HR analytics, she holds multiple certifications in her area of expertise.
She is a fitness enthusiastic and leads a very disciplined life.
Career Highlight: Apeksha has always been a path breaker in her career journey by introducing various HR initiatives to attract & retain best talent from the market. With her current assignment with DSV Air & Sea Pvt. Ltd., she has brought various changes in terms of policy, processes and technology upgrades. These initiatives have helped her change the perception of human resource function from being a support function to a business enabler.
She has diversified experience while working with different industry sector from manufacturing to Auto components to IT publishing industry. To name a few she has worked with KK Modi Group, C&S Electric Group company & Aptara Corp etc. These diversified experiences helped her gain insight on various employee demographics, talent acquisition, retention strategies and career and succession planning.
During her current & past assignments in five years tenure she has been promoted four times which talks about how capable & ambitious she is.
She has been nurtured in an environment that has instilled a strong feeling of gender equality, which is something that DSV Air & Sea possesses as well.
