Saumyaa Vardhan possesses a strong proficiency in mathematics coupled with a deep appreciation for cosmic wisdom! Saumyaa Vardhan holds an MBA from Imperial College London with distinction, an MSc in Operational Research from Lancaster University, a BSc in Statistics (Hons), and achieved Gold Medalist status at Lady Shri Ram College for Women in India, where she was ranked 2nd among 60,000 students in 80+ colleges at Delhi University. These academic accomplishments contribute to her strong foundation in advanced mathematics from esteemed institutions.
Her journey encompasses over seven years in London as a Mergers & Acquisition executive with KPMG, EY, and Rolls-Royce UK. However, it is her unwavering belief in ancient Vedic wisdom that has defined her trajectory. In 2013, Saumyaa co-founded Shubhpuja.com, the world’s first-ever authentic online Vedic services, with a team of over 500 Indian Vedic Brahmins and professionals.
She undertook intensive advanced studies in Vastu Shastra, Astrology, and Numerology at BVB India. Today, in her practice, she applies those teachings that advocate scientific Vastu and Vastu without demolition.
Saumya is currently serving as the Director, Digital Transformation Office Leader at Yahoo, responsible for setting strategic vision and direction for the CIO org (team size 1200+ Engineers) and leading a multi-billionportfolio-level modernization program for the CIO of Yahoo, one of the largest in the industry.
To add value to the community, Saumya co-founded a tech job seekers meetup group that grew to 400+ members in two years. She launched LIVE radio shows on spirituality in New York, New Jersey, and San Francisco Bay Area. She’d previously volunteered to teach blind students and now mentors startup founders for global scaling.
She’s the proud recipient of the ‘Women Super Achiever Award 2017,’ and she’s been listed among the ‘Top 40 Women Entrepreneurs’ in India – take that, glass ceiling!
