When he was an adolescent, he planned his education in sync with the goals he planned. It took him 7 years of his initial career in learning the processes and operations and to decide which business he should vest his efforts on. Mr. Ravinder inferenced that business should be a valuable & lifestyle brand having its own manufacturing in India and products should have high acceptance in the market. This led to the establishment of Little Nap in 2011.

It all began with a borrowed capital from his family and friends; he set up a 600 sq. ft showroom with 10 outsourced recliners and with a team of 2, a small manufacturing unit was established to sustain good quality and customization. Today, it has grown into an organization with 12 showrooms across India and two manufacturing units, with a total of 75,000 square feet production area. 

Just like success, a business has its own challenges during its growth. Mr. Ravinder recalls, “Although there were a lot of challenges, the biggest was not having the manufacturing expertise”. With his prior experience in sales and people management, he ensured that the factory is in a government approved industrial area.  However, creating a complete manufacturing start-up it was not easy. Adequately, skilled labour was required to execute the work as the recliners are hand crafted. 

Mr. Ravinder proudly shares that La-Z-Boy, the biggest recliner brand in the world, has partnered with Little Nap. They have provided seating comfort at a lot of prestigious Cinemas like PVR, Cinepolis and Cinegrand. Along with this, the organization has further provided services to Max Hospital, Medanta Hospital and many more in the list. Little Nap is also available on leading online furniture platforms like Pepperfry.com, Urbanladder.com and Amazon. Little Nap has been awarded ‘The World’s Greatest Brands Asia & GCC’ with PWC as the process reviewer in Dubai. 

Mr. Ravinder credits his customers for all the successful innovations made by the organization. Hr says, “All our successful and innovative ideas come from our consumers, which is why we take regular feedback, review them and implement, as applicable, to achieve customer satisfaction”. He further says that they are a customer centric organization, and the same is instilled in the functionality at Little Nap. He envisions to take comfort to a whole new level with their state-of-the-art features and breakthrough innovations.
