In the annals of his professional journey, the year 2007 stands as a watershed moment – a pivotal juncture where opportunity intersects with ambition. It was then that the visionary and current CEO of Tata Elxsi, embarked Rajat on a transformative assignment across the global landscape starting with East Asia. Through strategic alliances and meticulous planning, he penetrated markets in South Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore, solidifying Tata Elxsi’s position as a global player.

In 2010, Mr. Rajat Suvra Das was reassigned as a Client Partner to the then largest Semiconductor OEM based out of the tech hub of the San Francisco Bay Area. What started with a modest annual business of a few hundred thousand dollars quickly grew as projects were secured with every business unit, spanning areas such as IoT, automotive, consumer electronics, and retail.

At Harman Connected Services (HCS), which he joined in 2013, Mr. Rajat Suvra Das spearheaded a multi-million deal with a leading Web browsing company for creating a Low-Footprint Software Platform targeted for Global Markets. The browser would be repurposed as an HTML based window to access websites for mobile phones. HCS also won the project to build the central application store, platform software and User Interface (UI). Starting from identifying the opportunity to negotiate the high value deal with client’s executives to defining the specifications for next generation of the product, Mr. Rajat Suvra Das was the central point of contact and drove the program. 

Since 2017, Mr. Rajat Suvra Das has been working to establish the semiconductor vertical at L&T technology Services. Through strategic acquisitions and talent leverage, the company has expanded its client base to include leading silicon OEMs. In his current role as Senior Director, he has led multiple large deals for Offshore Development Centers (ODC) across India and Israel thereby enhancing L&T’s market reach and capabilities.

With a first-class engineering degree in Electronics & Communication coupled with dual MBAs in Marketing & Finance, complemented by two decades of experience spanning India, Southeast Asia, and leading silicon OEMs in the US since 2010, Mr. Rajat Suvra Das has cultivated a unique perspective on the efficiencies of scale achievable through the application of AI and ML in the design-to-manufacturing spectrum of SoC and cybersecurity.
