Mr. Piyush Tiwari
Achiever's Success Story
Learning is the process of developing a more conscious state of being
To learn is to evolve into a more conscious state of being. The process of learning brings with it the willingness to bridge a gap between who we are and what we aim to become. Mr. Piyush Tiwari, Vice President of Operations at Instant Procurement Services Pvt. Ltd., is a lifelong learner who endeavours to implement his knowledge for the betterment of society.
Piyush has thirteen years of experience in the manufacturing sector. Since he was in college, the industrial world has fascinated him in peculiar ways. Modelling and Simulation of a Biodiesel Production Facility was the topic of his Master’s thesis. He also had the chance to conduct R&D at two external laboratories: the Hindustan Unilever Research Centre in Bangalore, India, and the Max Planck Institute in Magdeburg, Germany. During his eight years of service to FMCG companies such as Mondelez and ITC Foods, he participated in the introduction of new products, the development of new technologies, and the implementation of numerous cost-cutting and quality-improvement initiatives.
His specialisation was the development of resilient systems and procedures for optimally carrying out tasks. This experience was transferred over to his next employer, Wrig Nanosystems Pvt Ltd, a manufacturer of haemoglobin testing kits. Principal responsibilities included driving strategic initiatives surrounding the automation of processes for quality analysis and developing resilient algorithms for precise and accurate product readings. This had a direct positive effect on the quality of healthcare for those who used this device for testing at home and in hospitals.
Since the past ten months, he has been employed by Instant Procurement Services Pvt. Ltd., a company that provides procurement and inventory management solutions to organisations in a variety of industries for all indirect expenditures in their factories. As Head of Operations, he is responsible for ensuring that clients receive the finest services possible through operational efficiencies and technology-enabled Purchase and Inventory management solutions. Recently, he has assumed responsibility for the development of new product categories, such as Biomass, Packaging, and Utility Services. This role entails coming up with creative ways to establish an organised workplace for supplies of these categories, a concern for many factories.
He intends to use his skills to create disruptive advancements in the manufacturing sector, which will aid in the production of high-quality goods and accelerate India’s GDP growth.
