Over the years, he has led Aragen’s strategic investments in expanding its service portfolio, strengthening its infrastructure, and widening its global footprint. The Company today has R&D and manufacturing campuses across five cities in India and in California, USA employing around 4500 employees. Aragen was the first Indian CRO to acquire the West in 2014 when it acquired Aragen Bioscience, a US-based preclinical CRO specializing in providing biologics services. In 2021, Aragen further consolidated its position as a ‘one-stop solution provider’ when it acquired Intox Pvt. Ltd., a GLP-certified preclinical safety assessment service provider.

He has always focused on creating a sustainable organization that is based on strong values and work ethics and is driven by systems and processes. His vision, strategic foresight, strong management abilities, customer centricity and focus on creating a robust work environment have helped Aragen record strong growth year-on-year, attract talent, and widen its customer portfolio. The Company has been certified as a great place to work for five consecutive years and is also a signatory to various global initiatives on sustainability including the Science Based Targets initiative, GRI South Asia Charter on Sustainability Imperatives, and United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) principles amongst others.

He was felicitated with the CEO of the Year 2022 award at the CPHI Worldwide event in Frankfurt and at the 20th global edition of the Business Leader of the Year awards. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Arizona State University, USA, and a B.E. from the University of Bombay, India.
