With over 38 years of rich industrial experience in Human Resource Management and Employee Relations, he began his career in 1986 with Kinetic Engineering Ltd., a moped manufacturing giant. Over the years, he has worked with prominent national organizations like the Videocon Group, Tata Group, Crompton Greaves Ltd., and Minda Group.

His expertise also extended to multinational companies such as GKN Sinter Metal Ltd. and Piaggio Vehicle Ltd., where he held senior management positions.

Currently, he serves as the Executive Vice President – Group Corporate Employee Relations at Endurance Group, an auto component manufacturing giant with 20 plants in India and 7 abroad, employing over 18,000 people.

In this role, he oversees employee relations across all plants. His specialized skills include leading large HR teams to successfully implement people management practices, such as Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Learning and Development, Compensation& Benefits, Performance management, Engagement initiatives and succession planning. He is also a strategic thinker known for developing innovative HR/IR policies and practices that foster organizational growth, handle change management, and promote harmonious employee relations, including the peaceful negotiation of over 30 long-term wage settlements.

He is a visionary Leader with expertise in formulating and benchmarking functional best practices. Having an in-depth knowledge of people management, maintaining healthy employee relations, and handling employee grievances thus creating an amicable, transparent& trustworthy working  environment.

He is a sought-after guest faculty at various management and law institutes and has contributed significantly to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives. His achievements have earned him prestigious awards such as “Strategic HR Leader of the Year.” Kalyan is also the Chairman of the NIPM Pune Chapter and served on the National Award for HR Best Practices Committee.

In recognition of his exceptional career accomplishments and contributions to the development of the country, the Indian Achievers Forum recently granted him the “Man of Excellence Award 2024.”
