His journey in the AEC industry started in 1998 as a fresh civil engineering graduate from CEPT University in Ahmedabad with the honorable Dr.L.R. Kadiyali, a renowned transportation specialist and an author of several textbooks in that field. He was his mentor and his guide who led him into this Industry. He continued his career and joined Bentley Systems headquartered in the USA in 2002 as a Sr. Application Engineer for Civil. Over the years, he has held various roles, including Industry Sales Director for Civil, and was the first Global Product Manager in Bentley Systems to be based in India. He moved to Singapore in 2014 to join AECOM where he played a key role in driving the adoption of BIM technologies across AECOM projects in the Asia Pacific region as the BIM Director.

Since 2018, he has been the Global Director for BIM/Digital Engineering at Royal HaskoningDHV, a 142-year global engineering consultancy firm based out of the Netherlands, he moved to the Netherlands towards the end of 2019 with his wife and twin girls. In this role, he has led the organization-wide Digital Ways of Working (DWOW) strategy and has been instrumental in transforming the project delivery towards a data-driven decision-making process with ISO 19650 compliance as a core principle. He set up and expanded the Digital Academy as the core platform for disseminating knowledge and creating the ability for digital technology and platforms, inducing the behavior of continuous learning. As part of the program, he also initiated and support several innovations like 3D printing a sustainable bridge with Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP), collaboration with MIT, TUDelft, and others.

Furthermore, he is also a Member of the Digitalization & BIM Committee at the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) in Brussels. Here, he represent Koninklijke NLingenieurs, the Dutch trade association of consultancy, management, and engineering firms, and focus on communication and exchanging knowledge on digitalization and OpenBIM on the role of consulting engineers.

Throughout his career, he has focused on acquiring expertise in new areas and fields and aspires to contribute to developing a digital and sustainable AEC industry. He truly believes in continuous learning and throughout his career has acquired various certifications and professional accreditations, including the PMI Project Management Certification, and Prosci Change Management Practitioner Certification. He also holds an Advanced Leadership Certification from TCM Management and a Product Manager Certification from Pragmatic Marketing.
