In 2024, He founded the Agrawal Structural Consultants firm in Mumbai with a kick-off at Prabhadevi Beach Clean-up. Its primary services are residential and commercial structural design. In the past, he has worked on designing airports, film studios, villas, etc. after working and learning state-of-the-art automation tools in the US, with an enriching professional designing experience with top companies like Walter P Moore and Arup. 

ASC focuses greatly on automation and inculcating the latest trends in technology with a key focus on sustainability.  He has been licensed by top organizations like LEED to design sustainable structures.

His journey started at 10 when, after being advised by doctors not to pursue education due to a loss of vision, Gaurav chose not to give in. After multiple surgeries and working extremely hard, he cleared the challenging JEE exam and got into one of the finest engineering institutions – IIT Bombay, after completing his Civil Engineering, he decided to go to the top university of the States to further sharpen his skills and open up his perspective towards the world. He wanted to bring the best practices from the world & transform the Indian market along with the plethora of talent in India. Landing a job during the COVID pandemic was a challenge in itself but an undeterred he worked hard and eventually landed a job with the Virginia Government and later with Walter P Moore. On coming back to India in 2023, he worked with Arup, Mumbai & after understanding the market and its potential, decided to start his own business.

But there is much more to him than being the founder and CEO of ASC. As someone who has always valued education and is highly career-oriented, he dedicates his time volunteering with government schools to support the coming generations of geniuses and also provides resume-building and career counselling services to professionals for no cost. He also hosts his podcast “AEC Tech Talks” where he talks about the technical challenges of AEC and helps students and professionals become better.

Being recognized as the Young Achiever 2024 by the Indian Achiever’s Forum is a testament to his extraordinary achievements. His story serves as an inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs and change-makers.

He aims to make his firm India’s top design firm but with a focus on quality and not quantity. His dream is to design sustainable spaces and to leave behind a legacy that echoes for generations.
