Mr. Basappa has managed multi-location operations and currently serves as CFO (KMP) for an Indo-Spanish joint venture. His experience includes working with various international joint ventures and publicly listed entities on the NSE and BSE. His skills cover fundraising, RBI FEMA Act compliance, investments, treasury management, MIS, ERM, costing, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and statutory compliance.

He secures funding through diverse channels such as debt, equity, FDI, ECB, bonds, private equity, venture capital, angel investors, vendor funding, and consortium / multiple banking arrangements. His strategic investments of surplus funds align with the projected cash flow and liquidity needs, encompassing mutual funds, fixed deposits, debentures, and equity.

Mr. Basappa oversees the preparation of MIS reports, offering senior management insights into financial performance, including profitability and performance metrics. His expertise also includes variance analysis, cost analysis, and financial statement analysis, covering standalone, AOP, JV, SPV, subsidiary, and consolidated group financials. He manages internal controls, collaborates with leading audit firms (EY), and coordinates with insurance companies for risk management and claims handling.

Experienced in direct and indirect tax functions, he ensures compliance with corporate tax, and other regulations, proficiently managing tax reporting and audits.
