Ashok’s illustrious career includes spearheading the modernization of the Business Process Management platform as the leader of the Pega Center of Excellence (CoE). Under his guidance, the CoE successfully designed and deployed reusable processes and solutions for a suite of applications using Pega BPM. This initiative resulted in a dramatic reduction in call handling time through the use of Robotic Process Automation and Robotic Desktop Automation, seamlessly connecting to legacy systems, including Mainframes, to gather data and perform supporting tasks.

In addition to this, Ashok was a driving force in the digital transformation and modernization of Appeals & Grievances and Care Management systems. These efforts led to the delivery of best-in-class platforms and support for care managers, appeals & grievance nurses, and medical directors. Notably, Ashok’s leadership resulted in a remarkable reduction in regulatory fines. This reduction was achieved through the streamlining and automation of the intake process of appeals and grievances from various channels, employing intelligent skill-based routing of cases, automatic prioritization based on SLAs and urgency, and timely escalations when nearing or missing SLAs.
