He began his career in India, providing care to countless patients. In 2006, he made a pivotal move to Dubai, UAE, to practice. However, his dedication to patient safety soon led him to transition into the realm of healthcare quality and patient safety, setting the stage for a remarkable journey of professional growth and service.
Between 2008 and 2019, he made significant contributions to healthcare quality at Mediclinic Middle East, assuming various roles and steadily rising to Medical Director of the Western Region.
His next chapter saw him at NMC Healthcare, where his relentless commitment to excellence earned him the role of Vice President for Quality, Patient Safety, and Experience across the group’s units in the Middle East. In this influential role, he oversaw quality and safety for the largest private healthcare system in the UAE, driving them toward specific quality and patient safety objectives. He currently works at Abu Dhabi Health Services (SEHA) Dhafra region as the Chief Quality Officer for Al Dhafra Hospitals.
His academic achievements are equally impressive, underscoring his commitment to lifelong learning. He holds a Bachelor’s in Dental Surgery, a Membership, and a Diploma in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, UK, diplomas in quality management and practice management from esteemed institutions in Australia and Canada, and a Master of Health Administration from Canada.
Furthermore, he holds prestigious fellowships and certifications, a Fellowship from the American Academy of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), the esteemed Certified Health Executive (CHE) credential from the Canadian College of Health Leaders, and patient safety and CPHQ certifications.
He has published several research articles, serves as an international editorial board member of the Canadian Healthcare Leaders Journal, and has contributed to several peer reviews in international journals.
