Dr. Abhijit Sarkar is currently working with Sharekhan Ltd, an 100 percent subsidiary of French Multinational Bank, BNP Paribas. He is the Sr.Vice President and Country Head- Administration & Procurement. He is also an Advisory Board Member for an association called iNFHRA, Advisory Board Member for International Business Management School IIBMS and associated as an advisory member for various associations working for travel, real estate and procurement fraternity. He is an MBA in HR, B COM, Doctorate in Management Studies, further holding Diploma in Architectural and Designing, Certified Sig Sigma Black belt and certified Scrum Manager, Fellow with Royal institute of Chartered surveyor London. He is also certified professional in procurement & supply chain management & also a Member of Leaders Excellence, Harvard Square.
He started his carrier in Personal & Admin Department, however his passion towards challenges drove him to mould himself to be an Administrator. As the time flew he transformed himself from Admin to General Services handing all the facility of the organization, which is technical and non technical, he further diversified himself to be a thorough supply chain professional where by ensuring that he represent the top line function and from bottom line .
He has been instrumental in visiting various management schools and counseling students on various aspects of career including guiding them on the roadmap to corporate world for them. He is recipient of more than 100 awards in various categories. He always believed and has owned the responsibility to contribute for the well-being and improvement of the FM community.
Personally he spends lot of time and effort in trying to understand the future of FM through numerous research, projects, white papers, articles, discussions and workshops and educating the fraternity in providing insight into some of the key defining trends and developments.
He always believes that be a leader who are loved, admired, and respected by the people we lead as we motivate and inspire those people to achieve their full potential.
