Never Let The Enthusiasm Die!

Suparna Dasgupta is the founder of The Travel Cube. But the journey to creating herown door was not a cruise but a hike with rough terrain. Growing up in New Delhi in an educated and hardworking family, prioritizing her career and merit came as second nature. She finished her B. Com. (Hons.) and soon qualified the intermediate examination of CA in the first attempt. However, unexpectedly, the career she so prioritized came to a halt when she got married and had two kids. In a trice, opting out of her promising career emanated to be something necessary and derivative of happiness. 

Her life revolved around her children, their grooming and their education. The several years she spent cultivating her family gradually washed away her identity of a working professional but instead replaced it with identity of a mother, a wife, a daughter-in-law, a sister-in-law. Soon, her kids grew up, and she , with much hesitation albeit with an encouraging family, thought of starting her career afresh and make something of herself. With a vigour of a wartime radio operator, she typed out he resume preparing for a chapter which she thought had closed long ago. 

As expected, cumulus clouds shaded this step too. With the thought that worry is just an undernourished enthusiasm, she took up courses and went on to work in two companies as an accountant. As mercurial as life is, opportunities were extremely limited; especially being an opt-out mother and a gargantuan career break. She  decided to create her own opportunity and founded her travel agency, The Travel Cube in 2017. It is a product of her assiduous persistence and hard work with enormous support from friends and family. 

She does various Travel packages and looks forward to sustainable tourism development.

• She promoted and still promoting wellness packages to create a demand in international market, so once situation is good, flights starts, India can have international patients, and yes this is for her business as well, for inbound business.

• She likes to approach colleges where tourism courses are taken care. Her agency will arrange various educational meet in their campus by various tourism departmental personnel, this will help students to know more and in a better way directly from the person who is from that particular state. In this way many will come to know about me and her agency, and may contact whenever they have any travel plans.

• Lastly she collects data of skilful people’s handicraft items from various states, people who actually making the things but not getting benefits of that, in this 1 person is with her. They are collecting the pictures of the products/articles with cost. As a thanks or souvenir from agency will send 1 each to their clients who are taking their services. In this manner they will help those people to generate more revenue, and their guests will remember them, will be happy to get a unique item and will comeback for next/upcoming travel plans.
