Rupali Sharma to change the face of Women Entrepreneurship in India

Started her career as HR professional, Rupali Sharma is running a homegrown hair & skin care brand Aegte Lifescience with a turnover of 10 Crore in 2 years. Her journey started when she trusted natural alternatives to treat her hair fall problems after 2nd pregnancy.

“I was facing severe hair fall and hair thinning issues post pregnancy and I tried every possible remedy available in the market but nothing helped me cure my hair fall problem. I was suggested by my grandmother to use Red Onion juice mixed with a few natural remedies which are easily found in our kitchen and regular use actually helped me get rid of hair fall issues” said Rupali Sharma, Founder and CEO, Aegte Lifescience.

Later, Rupali Sharma realized this problem as a big concern with other women too and started her brand Aegte with the launch of its first product Premium Onion Hair Oil.

“It wasn’t easy for me to run this company alone as people weren’t taking me seriously because I used to take my one and half yr. old son with me in my meetings. Understanding the situation and potential in Aegte, my husband, Dhiren Sharma left his job and helped me to shape this brand more professionally to make this brand stand to the next level” said Rupali Sharma on challenges faced by her on starting her own brand.

The brand was started in 2018 and Onion Hair Oil was launched during the Amazon Great Indian Sale and it was a big hit and the product was completely sold out. The immense market response and customer trust made them add more natural alternatives for hair and skin care.

“After the successful launch, we have received wonderful response on our Onion Hair Oil and our customer literally started asking for more such products and they appreciated the quality of our Onion Oil and showed their real results with us. The love and customer support helped us start with more innovative products based on their demand and understanding the market gap ” said Rupali Sharma on adding more products in the collection.  

Today, Aegte has added 28 products which cater to Hair, Skin and Body care and are formulated with safe, herbal and clinically provening redients.

Rupali Sharma has recently been awarded for “Women of Excellence Award” by Indian Achiever’s Forum in recognition of Outstanding Professional Achievement and Contribution in Nation Building.

Her dedication, authentic product quality and loyalty with customers have made her win millions of customer trust in her Brand.

The company has recently started a EWEO (Empowered Women Empowers Others) campaign, a unique program to allow women to leverage the power of their network and earn from home by referring to Aegte products. The program was well received and was joined by 250 women members within one week of launch.

In addition to that, the company has planned several other activities to connect with mass. Their aim is to connect with people and benefit from each other.

Recently, the company has announced #Savetheoceans campaign, Aegte not only uses bio-degradable grade plastic for product packaging but is also working with verified recyclers who ensure product packaging gets recycled and shouldn’t pollute the environment. 

With the launch of initiatives like, #Savetheoceans, the company has announced a reward of Rs. 50 Gift certificates to its customers for every empty bottle they return back to the company.

Aegte Lifescience is a new generation brand and is coming up with several initiatives and planning to profit everyone who connects with the brand.

The company will soon be launching Health Care products based on natural solutions to benefit the mass.

Aegte has an extensive online presence and sells its products on Amazon, Flipkart, 1mg and Snapdeal among others and are priced between Rs 500 and Rs 2,000.”
The brand also sells products offline through approximately 50 retail shops.
