Due to her rigorous efforts, things started moving in the right direction. She soon started getting IELTS queries from the students. Her convent background became an asset, as students showed their faith in her unique teaching style. 

Although, it was not a piece of cake in the beginning, as this was something new to her, the more she took up such challenges the more she manifested achievements in her life. After completing her PG she worked with various international schools that gave her the exposure to deal with the different age groups of students.

As she was determined to explore this field more, so she communicated with her cousins/peers who have already been abroad, which became a breakthrough. She started watching YouTube videos, had one on one sessions with trainers, mentors and industry experts. She practised meticulously and soon she joined some prestigious organizations as a senior IELTS trainer.

Today, she can undoubtedly say that whatever she has achieved is just because of her mentors, her efforts and most importantly because of her passion for self-learning.

Journey as a Solopreneur

2020 was many things to many people. To Ms Richa, it was a stepping stone into the crazy world of Freelancing that soon made her a Solopreneur. 

When she lost her job in the pandemic like many people she immediately took this opportunity of freelancing and now there’s no turning back. At first, it was overwhelming, she admits it. But when she joined LinkedIn and other social media platforms, as well as worked on her branding over there, she started getting valuable clients from overseas as well. 

They trained with her, recommended her and most importantly trusted her. 

The cherry on the top moment for her was when one day she came to know that she has been awarded as the “best IELTS trainer” in Chandigarh. That’s when she realized the importance of her 8 consistent years of working in a single direction. 

She has expanded her team a bit and planning to hire more people.

During all these years she has trained 1000+ students and she will continue to do so because she believes education is the best way to cultivate a society of rich heritage. 

Many a time she has been asked, “what is that driving force that gets her going through difficult times?” She recalls this popular quote by Anthony J. D’Angelo – “Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow”. The learning started 8 years ago and it will continue.
