“Ms.Radha Jagarlamudi, Founder & Director, Ladduu App”
Ms. Radha Jagarlamudi is on a mission to contain out-migration, create opportunities for rural dwellers and make villages and small towns a thriving place to live that is filled with opportunities. She aspires to impact 1 million lives by 2022 and double the income of blue-collar workers through providing work opportunities, skill training and appropriate working conditions. A voracious reader deeply influenced by life stories of political and business leaders, she chose to study Economics which equips her to return to roots and pave a path for her people to excel and prosper. The stark divide between urban and rural India has pained her and the urge to address this gap has been a fire burning inside her.
A recipient of K. C. Mahindra Scholarship and Nalini Sivaraman Gold Medal; she moved to the United States to pursue a Bachelor’s degree where she graduated with a double major in Economics and Finance from Miami University, Ohio. She also has a Master’s in Economics and began her career as a Junior Economist at a Data SaaS company based out of Charlotte, NC. She went on to serve in a leadership position before moving back to India.
Staying true to her ambition of empowering Indian rural dwellers, she founded Ladduu. After multiple pilot projects involving rural residents including skilled workers, households, farmers; she came up with a service marketplace platform leveraging a mobile application to connect blue collar workers with residential as well as industrial customers. Thereby containing out-migration and generating multiple sources of income for skilled/semi-skilled labor in villages and towns. LADDUU is a sincere attempt to give back meaningfully to the community, PAN India and eventually at a global level employment opportunity to the blue-collar workers and provide a decent style of living for the people residing in tier2/3 towns and villages.
