Manisha has worked hard to build a firm where clients are at the core. The firm works as a team to serve the clients, with a shared focus on innovation, efficiency, and agility. “I am well aware of the Client’s business and their commercial needs apart from the legal issues faced by them. I ask them their expectations and try to deliver the best results possible without compromising my ethics,” elaborates Manisha. Being available to the clients without any compromises on the quality of work is integral to Manisha’s practice.

Manisha set the bar high by having worked her way up in the firm wherein she started as an Associate. “I have a legacy of my father to uphold, however, I have never used the same to benefit myself in any manner, even when it was time to lead the firm,” says Manisha. She took over the reins of a firm that was in shambles, managed a lot of hierarchical changes, organization restructuring and revenue loss. Manisha introduced various policies in place including diversity and work-life balance which is almost unheard of in legal firms in India. The firm is now ranked amongst the well-known firm in many niche practice areas and has earned many other awards and accolades.

Manisha is the Jt. Treasurer of the National Company Law Tribunal Bar Association. She is also part of the Corporate Law Committee at PHDCCI. Manisha is on the advisory board of India Law Journal (ILJ) and Corporate Law Journal (CLJ). She has published articles in various legal and corporate magazines, and also presented varied subjects and been on panels at seminars and conferences held all over India. She works pro bono for social enterprises. Children rights and women empowerment are two other subjects that are very close to her heart. Manisha is a regular guest lecturer at various law schools and judge at moot courts.
