A decorated and celebrated advertising enthusiast, she is using her passion to fix persistent problemof the society and hopes her efforts wouldone day make healthcare affordable.

Talk of advertising and Kamya Elawadhi is a name to reckon with. In the advertising world, she is someone who has crafted some of the notable and award winning campaigns.Even while she was studying Mass Communication, she knew advertising was her heart’s calling. Once there, she never looked back, taking top positions at global advertising firms.

A life-long learner, Kamya did not stop at that juncture. During her advertising stints, she worked with both consumer and pharmaceuticals brands.That is when she noticed Pharmaceutical brands lagged behind consumer brands in the digital space and were losing on the huge potential it offered. The gap triggered her to jump into entrepreneurship and she joined the founding team of Doceree, the first Global Network of Physician-only Platforms for Programmatic Marketing, as Vice President – Customer Success, adding another feather to her hat.

Drawing from her experience of both the worlds, Kamya realized that zeroing in on the outcomes of campaigns and measurability weren’t as easy for Pharma marketers as was for consumer marketers. It was because of the sole reason that consumer marketing space was acting in a unified ecosystem, while Pharma marketing space was rather scattered. A mother of a five-year-old, Kamya got on a mission to streamline Physician marketing through Doceree and believes cost of health care would come down by introducing effectiveness and efficiency in Pharma digital marketing.

Under her leadership,Doceree in the past year has grown its footprints to two international markets — the US and India –and the company’s business has grown manifold.For Doceree, she was most recently named Outstanding Young Leader in Healthcare Marketing.Earlier, she won some of the renowned industry awards for the following campaigns:
