Vishvarup is currently working with Coupa Software as HR Director, he joined Coupa 2.9 years back with a vision to take Coupa to new heights. Ever since then Coupa India has remarkably grown by more than 140% with an attrition below 10%. There are times when he has to wear different hats and he does it flawlessly;sometimes play a role of a trusted advisor, a custodian of employee development,enhancing their wellness or developing their leadership skills through reinvention of training needs. He is proud to be a part of the driving force in enhancing customer (internal and external) experience through unwavering commitment towards Coupa Core Value.

In his previous roles, he had been passionate about learning new skills, whether it is OD intervention or crafting new employee friendly programs.  In his previous journey, he had been fortunate to lead two start-up ventures and scaled it to few thousands employees from ground ‘zero’. CSR initiatives, Women Empowerment, employee happiness, supporting underprivileged community on personal front, are some of the projects that are very close to his heart.

As a people centric person, the last 2 decades have seen him imparting his learnings with younger generation, HR communities and students. And he will always remain thankful to all mentors in the form of peers, managers who would advocate when he was wrong.

Vishvarup holds MBA degree where he was awarded Gold Medal for his outstanding performance. He is also a PG DBM, PG DTL. He was also awarded ‘Thumbs-up’ award and ‘Excellence Award’ for his outstanding contribution in setting up two start-ups in India as their first employee. While he looks forward to adapting to an untiring change in life, however, one thing that remains consistent throughout is ‘dignity’. On the lighter side, Vishvarup loves spending time with his family and pursues his hobby of writing songs, playing guitar, reading, cooking and outdoor activities.
