Mr.Vazhapulli Mechanical Engineer by academics, with an experience of more than 22 years spanning across various Industries- Automotive; Pharma Engineering; Tooling; Textile Engineering; Printing & Labelling. Having spent the initial 12 years of his professional journey handling various international markets like USA, Canada, Asia Pacific, Australia / New Zealand, Latin America, Europe. Completed his Executive program in General Management from NMiMS, Mumbai as a part of Key Talent program “i-Spring” @ ACG Worldwide & Lean Manufacturing organized by CII @ M&M FES division, Kandivali, during the course of his Professional career.

Post his introduction to General Management position, he took up the P&L responsibility in the capacity of a Business Head for a period of 5 years, then as the CEO of a NSE/BSE Listed Manufacturing company & the Director of a UK company alongside for a period of 2 Years and now the Managing Director of Skanem India (Around 2-1/2 years and counting). During the course of his professional career, he has been bestowed with “Exemplary Leadership” award by ABP News, the Thought leadership & World Quality congress & Yes Bank, for the year 2018 under the manufacturing segment; featured and ranked 35th in the Power100 List of 100 Most Influential Leaders in Print & Packaging Industry in India for the year 2020. He was a part of 2 Patent submissions in the field of surface finish and Metallurgy. He was also the part of National committee for Capital Goods & Engineering of both CII (Confederation of Indian Industries) & FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industries) 2 most important and powerful Industrial associations in India, during the year 2017, as part of his professional journey.

During this pandemic, even when the whole world came to a halt, Skanem India did not lose its pace in the race to become the market leaders in India. Ensuring all this, while keeping the well-being and safety of their employees at priority. From providing Covid specific Insurance coverage to all our employees , ontime and full salaries ,  pick & drop of shop floor employees from their respective homes , stay facilities within the vicinity of the plants in case of employees who commute from distant places , Skanem India has ensured that its Best Asset which is its Employees are taken care of . Apart from its own people Skanem India also contributed to the Society in general by Food & essential supplies and other healthcare support, to the nearby villages, during this pandemic.
