Vikram started his career with the R&D department of NIIT Ltd. and wrote many programs for cognitive systems. He worked with children and youth, both in and out of school, for two decades now and had been associated with prestigious projects like Hole-in-the-wall and School in the cloud. Vikram specializes in implementing large projects and project start-ups. He also initiated many innovations in education technology and was part of many research projects, both in the development lab of NIIT and in the field at slum and village sites in India, Africa, and South-East Asia.

In the last three years, Vikram has implemented one of the flagship programs of NIIT Foundation – Jaadu Ginni Ka – a Financial Literacy program for everyone, where 3.3 million people got impacted in this program. Jaadu Ginni Ka program is an initiative of the Vodafone Idea Foundation and got implemented in 15 states of India by NIIT Foundation in the first phase of the program. Under this program, 3 villages are made complete financial literate by conducting multiple sessions in the villages.

During last year, when COVID dominated all of us, Vikram spearheaded many initiatives and campaigns for NIIT Foundation students and their families. It includes provide cash to families – allowing them to sustain themselves for a month, spread awareness about healthy practices, and providing health-related supplies, enabling the families to stay home and stay safe and vaccination awareness program.

Vikram follows Genuine Contact® methods and tools to conduct meetings and to reach out to the team members. These tools help him to reach out to the team with all care and empathy.
