Vikram’s life is a living example of the above quote.

His father, a rich businessman, a doting mother and an adorable little brother, there was nothing else one could wish for…But God had a different plans. His best friend, philosopher and guide was snatched away, his father died in his arms and a new Vikram was born at age 16.

God took his father away and in return he gained an innate sense of people, fearlessness and excellent communication skills.

Post completing his B.E. Instrumentation & Electronics and not wanting to pursue an engineering related job, he took up a job of a sales executive in 1997 with a big dream of becoming the National Head of Sales & Distribution in 10 years without a formal MBA degree.

From creating record breaking and passionate sales teams to sell Home Loans, Loan Against Property in 1997-98 for Citibank Shelters , to sell liability products for HDFC Bank , moving onto the Private Life Insurance Industry as founder member for Max New York Life and being the Top 5 team Nationally and ultimately achieving the dream of becoming the National Sales Head in 2007 at the age of just 32 years in HDFC Life. He continued to create new records in sales of life insurance products through the various verticals of Direct, Retail, Bancassurance through Indian Bank, HDFC Bank to the tune of 2000 Cr in a year (2010-11) while at HDFC Life, which was a very successful and enriching experience in Vikram’s words.

With the vast experience above , he took the plunge to be an entrepreneur thereafter, to change the way medicines were being retailed in India but guess he wasn’t fully ready and the idea a little ahead of its time, he faced Failure.

Not being a person to run away from adversity he joined the sunrise industry of India, E Commerce, as an Internal Board Member and Head Sales and Distribution at IndiaMART. This gave him a whole new perspective and opened the doors of technology in his workspace. The business at IndiaMART was scaled up 5X times in a matter of 18 months leading the company to a 225Cr funding and eventually a stellar listing.

Companies have grown leaps and bounds in sales, increased profit and expanded the business to new territories, cracked big orders deals using Vikram’s model of creating Passion in People to work, Goal Setting, Execution Strategy, High Ticket Sales Techniques. Vikram creates leaders! Along with 25 years of work experience, his USP being to propel the team to achieve the BHAG by using behavioral sciences and his own MBA approach (Management By Action) which influences his coaching to Individuals and Corporate Groups to maximize their potential.

Post a three year sabbatical from 2018 and going through a complete overhaul of his mental and physical self as well as emerging a Covid winner, he is now ready to take flight with his company KHUSHEE – Solutions That Bring Joy!
