Utkarsh hails from Bihar, ‘The Land of enlightenment.’ He has pursued his B.Tech from Rajasthan Technical University & has completed an MBA from the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology, MESRA, Ranchi. Post his MBA; he got campus selected in one of the leading NBFC in the country and largest Farm Equipment Financiers ‘Mahindra Finance’. His growth story in Mahindra Finance is inspirational for all industrious corporate employees, especially in the BFSI sector. After campus placement, he was deployed at Lucknow as a Management Trainee. Post 6 months, his work and attitude towards the job were appreciated by seniors & he was promoted as an Assistant Manager- Farm Equipment Loans. In 2017, he was called to Mumbai by senior management for the Pan India role after assessing his contribution & hard work in different projects at the zonal level.
His expertise includes- managing all aspects of the Product life cycle from strategy, market research, conceptualization, product features, user interface, pilot testing/prototyping, end to end product delivery in terms of business sourcing & recovery for Non-Captive tractor/farm equipment finance products along with daily monitoring of business & portfolio at country level, ensuring continuous business growth with healthy portfolio. Design & execute the policies and process related to business or customer need with special context to current market, preparing strategy documents & risk reports, working closely with cross-functional teams for development & deployment of different projects or products, working with Tableau and data analysis team on visualizing of reports, MIS & dashboards used for internal monitoring & making them advanced but user friendly.
In 2019 looking at his all-around performance and achievements he was again promoted as Deputy Manager within 3 years.
He also has a love for poetry & numismatics. He has participated & won in many online poetry challenges and manages an Instagram page dedicated to his Hindi poetry.
