14 years ago, he came to Nigeria on his first international assignment to set up a new division for Consumer Electronics/Durables in 2007. In the process of setting up this new division, he realized that Nigeria is one of the most power deficit countries in the world and people are spending millions of dollars on fuel to run generators that would light up their homes, offices, and industries. Over time, while successfully handling international markets, the foundation to kick start his start-up was laid and soon became a reality. Within three years of its inception, Afriipower is one of Nigeria’s fastest growing Power backup solutions and Renewable energy companies providing inverters, batteries, and solar solutions at affordable costs.

Mr. Srinivas strongly believes that success is all about the difference one makes in another’s lives.He is also believes that any  business has to serve the society in some form or another. He works relentlessly not just for his own organization’s growth but also for the wellbeing of people, society, and community in and around him. During the last 14 years, he was instrumental in elevating almost 25 entrepreneurs in this business and has trained over 200 Local Nigerians on inverter/solar solutions technology to generate livelihood not only for them but Thousands of other Nigerians who are indirectly associated with this business. He continues to pursue these endeavours in full force. From being the President of Telugu Association of Nigeria (TAN) to currently, being the Joint Social Secretary at Indian Cultural Association (ICA), he has strengthened bonds amongst the community, organised events to celebrate festivals and carried out service projects during the COVID-19 pandemic. These are just some of his major contributions in his bid to give back to the society in Nigeria.

He moves ahead in full flight, with no intentions of slowing down, and is determined to further expand his mission and make a positive difference in the world to the best of his abilities.
