His previous leadership roles include Associate Partner and Analytics Practice Head at IBM India and Associate Director at Cognizant. His early career experiences were in services and product companies like ITC Infotech, WIPRO, Infosys and Computer Associates (CA).

Known across the industry as a technology mentor, Sourabh has put in more than 3000 hours of mentoring in new and emerging technology areas. He is an Industry Advisory for Upgrad, and also sits in the Academic Councils of University of Engineering and Management (UEM) and RCC-IIT. He has been on panels and spoken in international events such as International Conference on Data Management, Analytics and Innovation (Society for Data Science), Informatica World, Las Vegas and twice in the Master Data Management Summit, London. In India, the list of prestigious institutions that have hosted Sourabh includes Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Symbiosis, IIFT, IISWBM, UEM, Techno India Group among others.

Sourabh is the author of the bestselling book Big Data Simplified, published by Pearson. His paper on technology trends was published in the prestigious Business Intelligence Journal of The Data warehousing Institute (TDWI).

Sourabh is a Master Data Architect from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Certified Cloud Practitioner (Amazon Web Services), among other certifications in Large Program Management (IIM), Design Thinking (IBM), Senior Technology Architect (Accenture) and Computer Society of India.

Sourabh has won several awards and citations from Accenture, Cognizant, Computer Associates, WIPRO as well as from several corporate bodies and educational institutions for his thought leadership, mentoring, and professional contributions.
