Persevere to Achieve a Dream of Excellence

How to turn a stereotype on its head is not everybody’s cup of tea. It is not necessary that great business models build great organizations that drive human spirit. For 27 years, Mr. Sheetal Paknikar, a Masters in Design from the Industrial Design Centre at IIT, Mumbai has gained enough all-round knowledge & hands on expertise in the communication design space. He worked in publication design with the Times of India, in computer graphics, animation & visual design with Film Directors Ketan Mehta, Subhash Ghai, Nagesh Kukunoor & Dr. Jabbar Patel, and NFDC & B4U Television to name a few. Somewhere down the line, he began thinking of getting professionals together to build a useful and relevant organization that could stand the test of time.

 

Today, as the Founder MD & CEO of the Seven Twenty Ten Network, a Media & Sports Consulting Organization that has diverse professionals working together of their own choice, Mr.  Sheetal says that the initial challenge was to inspire associates to walk the tough path together. Setting an example with perseverance and assured belief in his vision, he has inculcated humility & excellence to create a socially relevant business network that just completed a decade. Associated with well-known social initiatives from education, skill building, corporate CSR, slum children & rural women’s hygiene and dementia care for senior citizens, Mr. Sheetal Paknikar has been inspirational in his journey as a Man of Excellence. Currently, they are working for a Foundation in Dementia Care, developing a therapeutic multi-sensory environment for Dementia patients. 

With an impressive list of corporate clients, both nationally & internationally, Seven Twenty Ten Network has also self-funded social initiatives like the Sur Sanskaar Academy of Music in Mumbai that creates employment for the underprivileged, musicians, teachers & skill builds children in Indian Classical Music & Culture. 

Mr. Sheetal feels that excellence & professional achievement can be better evaluated while collaborating with professionals from different countries & cultures. In 2014, he pitched and executed a challenging adfilm project for Kenya, without going to Kenya. In 2015, 3 Years before Croatia created waves with their rapid rise in the FIFA 2018 World Cup, Seven Twenty Ten won an IMC contract to promote Football in India with the then Technical Director of the Croatian Football Federation, Dr. Romeo Jozak – who is a celebrated UEFA Administrator.

About the future plans, Mr. Sheetal is optimistic about working around the current world crisis & economic slowdown.

According to Mr. Sheetal, the future global calling in a post-COVID world should be simple sustainable business ideas, driven more by human intelligence that utilize AI & create knowledge capital, resulting in richer minds that can utilize venture capital responsibly – to create a healthy society.
